The HME Technician employee will be a self-motivated, energetic, and caring individual who will perform package handling, perform deliveries, provide services, and perform other duties as directed by the Sr. Manager Operations, including maintaining vehicle fleet, upkeep, and cleanliness of the warehouse environment
Responsibilities and Duties of the HME Technician:
1. Receives and documents medical supplies/equipment deliveries.
2. Verifies all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the packing list to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
3. Loads, unloads products, medical supplies/equipment, and stocks shelves as necessary.
4. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
5. Packs, secures, maintains medical equipment and supplies.
6. Maintains assigned company delivery vehicle by completing preventative maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs (weekly interior and exterior upkeep, including weekly car wash).
7. Delivers, sets up, and maintains equipment at the delivery address.
8. Completes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork including invoices, work orders, manifests, and logs.
9. Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations.
10. Delivers equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable federal, state, and local governmental regulations
11. Assists with company inventory periodically.
12. Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.
13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14. Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
15. Represents the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients.
16. Maintain equipment maintenance per manufacturer’s guidelines as directed.
17. Assist in resolving client equipment problems (troubleshooting), when appropriate.
18. Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company policy.
19. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy

Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years delivery experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Ability to lift, up to 80 pounds.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

Payrate: $18-$21/hr. Based on Experience
