Life Tech's continued growth has created a full-time position for a talented Market Liaison in the Chicago, IL area. We are looking for knowledgeable and dependable team members that enjoy working with medically fragile children and adults who are ventilator dependent.

The Market Liaison is responsible for promoting the Company; including applicable durable medical equipment products and respiratory services. The Market Liaison will engage referral sources in a regional territory. Referral sources include, but are not limited to: Hospital Systems, Case Managers, Doctors, APNs, NPs, Respiratory Management teams, Sleep labs, Transitional Care Facilities, LTAC facilities and Hospice Companies. The scope, strategy and frequency of engagement will align with all company goals for business growth. Life Tech-Advent LLC. goals for growth; including targets, frequency and reporting requirements will be disseminated by the Vice President of Business Development.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Market Liaison:

  • Reports any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
  • Represents the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with clients.
  • Pursues development of new business with potential referral sources within target market, as directed.
  • Participates in negotiations with referral source organizations as requested.
  • Develops existing business relationships with referral sources to maximize referral potential and include new product offerings.
  • Represents the Company at industry events in a professional manner that will enhance the Company’s public image and reputation.
  • Maintains accurate records of sales and marketing activities and communicates up-to-date information such as daily call/visit reports, weekly work plans, and monthly annual territory analyses using CRM software with other departments of the Company.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on new products, service offerings, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Manage respiratory category to include qualifying requirements, all required documentation and billing of products.
  • Manage respiratory products, i.e., ventilators, cough assists, supplies, etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; reporting patient outcomes; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Participates in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
  • Participates in the Company’s Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
  • Pursues continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
  • Works with manufacturer partners to align objectives and network potential new opportunities.
  • Completes appropriate documentation for engagement activities utilizing Salesforce.com or similar.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Business Development

Qualifications:

  • Associate/bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related filed of study preferred)
  • Established relationships within health care community.
  • Ability to effectively speak in public, including presentations.
  • Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ten years of experience in DME or home health industry (DME sales and marketing experience preferred).
  • Knowledgeable of third-party payer policies.
  • Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
  • Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Background check and drug screen is performed on all employees

Pay: $78,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
