Life Tech's continued growth has created a full-time opening for an Senior Accountant to work as part of our Finance team. We are looking for a knowledgeable, responsible, and dependable candidate. Responsibilities:

· Perform accounting and reporting tasks to support the month end close which includes entering journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and assisting with analytical review of consolidated results and portfolio companies.

· Maintain processes and procedures to ensure reporting in compliance under GAAP and regulatory requirements.

· Manage lease accounting (Operating and Capital) to facilitate the month end closing.

· Evaluates existing processes and reconciliations for improvement. Implements solutions and necessary process changes as identified and approved by the Controller.

· Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for accounting policies and regulations.

· Maintain documentation and assist in the year-end audit by an external third party.

· Prepare and research local and state tax compliance and business registrations to ensure compliance with federal, state and local taxes, property taxes and other external reporting as deemed necessary.

· Identifying issues and proactively implement processes and systems to reduce non-compliance.

· Assist in the integration of future acquisitions into the financial system.

· Performing other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Minimum two years of experience.

· Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements. Understanding revenue recognition and other general accounting issues for health care enterprises.

· Experience with NetSuite desired.

· Strong analytical ability with a natural tendency toward inquisitivenes

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to communicate professionally to all stakeholders and team.

· Ability to manage multiple provider files and associated timelines.

Pay Range: $75,000-$90,000 Annually
